System Actions

Initialization is the series of operations CA Spool performs each time it starts to get the system ready for file processing.

During each initialization, CA Spool:

• Loads the CA Spool routines and initializes buffer queues
• Locates and initializes all checkpoint and spool volumes
• Initializes internal tables and the subsystem interface
