Create a Rule for the Realm

After you create a realm containing target resources, you associate a rule with the realm. Part of the rule configuration is to assign a rule action, which allows you to control processing that occurs when users authenticate to gain access to a resource.

The rule actions you can configure for SAML 1.x are:

• Web Agent action (Get, Post, or Put)
• Authentication event with the OnAuthReject action

  To create this rule select the Authentication events radio button along with the OnAuthReject action from the pull-down menu.

  If you want to use this type of rule action you must also configure a Web Agent action.
