Navigate to the Rule Dialog to Edit an Existing Rule
Your method for accessing the Rule Dialog in the Policy Server User Interface varies depending on your administrative privileges.
Note: When you create or modify a Policy Server object in the Policy Server User Interface, use ASCII characters. Object creation or modification with non-ASCII characters is not supported.
To access the Rule Dialog to edit an existing rule
- Do one of the following:
If you have the Manage System and Domain Objects privilege:
- In the Object pane, click on the Domains tab.
- Expand the policy domain that contains the rule that you want to edit by clicking on the + symbol to the left of the domain.
If you have the Manage Domain Objects privilege:
- In the Object pane, expand the policy domain to which you want to add a rule by clicking on the + symbol to the left of the domain.
- In the Object pane, expand the list of realms within the policy domain by clicking on the + symbol to the left of the Realms entry.
- In the Object pane, click on the realm that contains the rule you want to edit. A list of rules and nested realms in the selected domain appear in the List pane.
- Right-click the rule you want to edit.
- From the pop-up menu, select Properties of Rule.
