Navigate to the Rule Dialog to Create a Rule

Your method for accessing the Rule Dialog in the Policy Server User Interface varies depending on your administrative privileges.

Note: When you create or modify a Policy Server object in the Policy Server User Interface, use ASCII characters. Object creation or modification with non-ASCII characters is not supported.

To access the Rule Dialog to create a rule

1. Do one of the following:

   If you have the Manage System and Domain Objects privilege:

   • In the Object pane, click on the Domains tab.
   • Expand the policy domain to which you want to add a rule by clicking on the + symbol to the left of the domain.

   If you have the Manage Domain Objects privilege:

   • In the Object pane, expand the policy domain to which you want to add a rule by clicking on the + symbol to the left of the domain.
2. Right click the realm/nested realm to which you want to add a rule.
3. From the pop-up menu, select Create Rule under Realm.
