Domain Type Group Box

The Domain Type group box is where you specify the domain type:

Policy Domain radio button

Specifies that the domain being configured is a Policy Domain. When selected, the Global Policies Apply check box is active and the Realms tab is present (Affiliates and SAML Service Providers tabs are absent).

Affiliate Domain radio button

Specifies that the domain being configured is an Affiliate Domain (see the SiteMinder Federation Security Services Guide). When selected, the Global Policies Apply check box is inactive and the Affiliates and SAML Service Providers tabs are present (the Realms tab is absent).
