Configure an HTML Form Authentication Scheme

After meeting the prerequisites described in the previous section, you can configure the scheme.

To configure an HTML Form authentication scheme

1. Open the Authentication Scheme Dialog.
2. Complete the fields described in Authentication Scheme Dialog Fields and Controls.
3. From the Authentication Scheme Type drop-down list, select HTML Form Template.
4. Complete the fields in the Scheme Setup tab as described in Authentication Scheme Dialog—HTML Form Template Scheme Setup Tab.

   Ensure that the .fcc file you specify in the Target field complies with the guidelines described in HTML Forms Authentication Templates.

5. Click OK to save your changes and close the Authentication Scheme Dialog.

   The Authentication scheme may now be assigned to a realm.
