Select a Variable Using Variable Lookup

The SiteMinder Variable Lookup dialog allows you to quickly select existing variable objects from a tree structure. The tree contains branches for each type of variable object that you can configure. By expanding a branch, you can view a list of variable objects of the associated type that have been configured in the current policy domain.

To select a variable from the SiteMinder Variable Lookup dialog

1. Click on the + symbol next to the variable type to expand the list of existing variables.
2. Select a variable.
3. Click OK.

   The variable object you selected will be substituted in the field associated with the Lookup button you clicked in the Response Attribute dialog.
