Authentication Scheme Dialog—MS Passport Template—Scheme Setup Tab

This tab is where you specify the configuration information for your implementation of the Passport authentication scheme.

Map Search Specification to Namespace group box

Select a namespace and define the appropriate mapping.

Registration URL

Registration redirect URL. This can specify a custom registration URL or a SiteMinder form.

Note: To include a SiteMinder form you must select the check box as described in Step.

The following is an example of a custom registration URL:

http://passport.xanadu.local/registration/passportreg.asp

The following is an example of a forms registration URL:

FORM=http://passport.xanadu.local/forms/passport.fcc

Use SiteMinder Forms for Registration check box

Select this check box if user registration will be completed through a SiteMinder form.

Allow anonymous login when no Passport identity exists check box

Select this check box if anonymous logins will be supported for users without Passport identities.

User DN

User Distinguished Name (DN) to be used to authorize access for a user who does not have a Passport. Specify a DN in this field if the Allow anonymous login when no Passport identity exists is selected.

This option allows Passport and Anonymous access to be combined into a single authentication scheme and thereby allows using Passport identities for personalization. This option should only be used when the authentication scheme is set to protection level 0, which is consistent with the Anonymous authentication scheme protection level.
