Infix Notation Group Box

The Infix Notation group box is where you view and manipulate the conditions of the LDAP expression.

Condition list

Lists all the conditions in the search expression using infix notation.

Note: By default, the second and all subsequent conditions are added to the Infix Notation group box with an and operator. You can group conditions and change between and operators and or operators using the associated control buttons to the right.

And/Or button

With the second or subsequent condition selected in the Condition list, toggles the operator between and and or.

Not button

Adds a not operator to the condition selected in the Condition list.

() button

With two or more conditions selected in the Condition list, adds parentheses to the selected conditions.

Modify button

Opens the Edit Dialog, in which you can modify the condition selected in the Condition list. (The Edit Dialog contains the same controls as the Condition group box.)

Remove button

Removes the condition selected in the Condition list.

LDAP Notation Group Box

The LDAP Notation group box displays the entire LDAP expression by showing the conditions in the Infix Notation group box using the appropriate LDAP notation.
