Condition Group Box

The Condition group box is where you create conditions to add to the LDAP search expression.

Attribute (left) combo box

Specifies the attribute for the search condition. The types of attributes that are available in this group box change according to the value you select from the drop down list in the Where to Search group box. If the attribute name that you want to use does not appear in the drop down list, you can type an attribute name in the field.

Operator (middle) drop down list

Specifies the operator for the search condition:

• equals
• approx
• greater than or equal
• less than or equal
• contains

Value (right) field

Specifies the desired value to completes the condition.

Add button

Adds the specified search condition to the LDAP search expression.

For example, to create a condition in an expression that includes an ou=marketing attribute, you can specify Organization in the Attribute combo box list, choose equals from the Operator drop down list, and enter a value of marketing in the Value field.
