Tasks Group Box

The Tasks group box is where you specify the tasks that the administrator has privileges to complete. The options presented in the tasks region changes according to the option you selected in the Scope group box.

The following option is always presented:

Manage Users

Allows the administrator to use the Manage User Accounts feature. See the SiteMinder Policy Server Management Guide.

If you selected System, the following additional options are presented:

Manage System and Domain Objects

Allows the administrator to create, edit, and delete all objects, which includes all objects in all policy domains, as well as system objects.

Manage Keys and Password Policies

Allows the administrator to manage password policies and use the global settings and key management features. For information about global settings and key management, see the SiteMinder Policy Server Management Guide.

View Reports

Allows the administrator to view all SiteMinder reports (see the SiteMinder Policy Server Management Guide).

Register Trusted Hosts

Allows the administrator to register a Trusted Host. For instructions on registering a Trusted Host, see the SiteMinder Web Agent Installation Guide.

If you selected Domains, the following options are presented in addition to Manage Users:

Manage Domain Objects

Allows the administrator to create, edit, and delete objects within the policy domains specified in the Scope group box.

Manage Password Policies

Allows the administrator to manage password policies and use the global settings feature. For information about global settings, see the SiteMinder Policy Server Management Guide.

View Reports

Allows the administrator to view SiteMinder reports for the policy domains specified in the Scope group box (see the SiteMinder Policy Server Management Guide).
