View User Directory Contents

The Policy Server User Interface allows you to view the contents of a user directory. By default you can only view user groups, not individual users. To view individuals, use a user directory search.

To view the contents of a user directory

1. Open the User Directory Dialog for an existing user directory connection.

   Note: If you want to view the contents of a directory for which you have just entered new information, be sure to click Apply and save your changes, otherwise the Policy Server will not be able to connect to the user directory with the most recent settings. In the case of a previously unsaved user directory connection, the Policy Server will not be able to display any user directory information before you save your changes.

2. Click View Contents.

   The Directory List Dialog opens and displays a list of user groups.
