Domino Directory Connections Prerequisites

In order to use SiteMinder with Domino LDAP, the following prerequisites must be met:

In order for the Policy Server to recognize the groups in your Domino LDAP directory, groups must share the root DN you specify when configuring the directory in the Policy Server User Interface. For example, if you add a group to your address book (names.nsf) in Lotus Notes, and the group is called marketing/myorg.org, the root DN you enter in the Root field of the User Directory Dialog must be o=myorg.org.
When defining users for Domino LDAP, it is recommended that you register new users. This additional step ensures consistency for user names. If a user has multiple entries in the User Name field of the Domino LDAP directory, the Policy Server uses the first entry to identify the user. If such a user tries to log in with a user name other than the first entry, the login fails. Note that users must have a value in the Internet Password field of the directory. When adding new users, be sure to provide an Internet password.
