The SiteMinder menu bar contains menus that allow you to access all of SiteMinder’s administrative features. The menus include the following options:
Closes the SiteMinder Administration window and logs you out of the system.
Opens an empty dialog for an object of the type that is currently selected in the Object pane or the List pane.
Creates a duplicate of the selected object and opens the corresponding dialog.
Opens a dialog and displays properties for the object selected in the List pane.
Deletes the object selected in the List pane. A dialog asks you to confirm the deletion.
Expands a submenu that contains selections for creating each type of SiteMinder system object.
This menu item’s name changes to the name of a selected policy domain. It expands a submenu that contains selections for creating each type of SiteMinder policy domain object.
This menu item’s name changes to the name of the selected realm. It expands a submenu that contains selections for creating a nested realm, creating a rule, or flushing resources contained in the selected realm from the cache.
Adds/removes Agent groups from the System tab of the Object pane. A check mark to the left of Agent Groups in the View menu indicates that Agent groups are available in the System tab.
Adds/removes Agent types from the System tab of the Object pane. A check mark to the left of Agent Types in the View menu indicates that Agent types are available in the System tab.
Adds/removes password policies from the System tab of the Object pane. A check mark to the left of Password Policies in the View menu indicates that password policies are available in the System tab.
Adds/removes registration schemes from the System tab of the Object pane. A check mark to the left of Registration Schemes in the View menu indicates that registration schemes are available in the System tab.
Adds/removes response groups from the Domains tab of the Object pane. A check mark to the left of Response Groups in the View menu indicates that response groups are available in the Domains tab.
Adds/removes rule groups from the Domains tab of the Object pane. A check mark to the left of Rule Groups in the View menu indicates that rule groups are available in the Domains tab.
Adds/removes SAML affiliations from the System tab of the Object pane. A check mark to the left of SAML Affiliations in the View menu indicates that SAML affiliations are available in the System tab. For more information, see the SiteMinder Federation Security Services Guide.
Adds/removes SQL query schemes from the System tab of the Object pane. A check mark to the left of SQL Query Schemes in the View menu indicates that SQL query schemes are available in the System tab.
Adds/removes trusted hosts from the System tab of the Object pane. A check mark to the left of Trusted Hosts in the View menu indicates that trusted hosts are available in the System tab.
Adds/removes variables from the Domains tab of the Object pane. A check mark to the left of Variables in the View menu indicates that variables are available in the Domains tab.
Opens the SiteMinder Global Settings dialog. For more information, see the SiteMinder Policy Server Management Guide.
Opens the SiteMinder Cache Management dialog. For more information, see the SiteMinder Policy Server Management Guide.
Opens the SiteMinder Key Management dialog. For more information, see the SiteMinder Policy Server Management Guide.
Opens the User Management dialog. For more information, see the SiteMinder Policy Server Management Guide.
Opens the Directory Mappings dialog.
Opens the Certificate Mappings dialog.
Opens SiteMinder online help.
Opens your default browser and displays a PDF file with links to PDF versions of all of books in the SiteMinder documentation set.
Note: Your browser must be equipped with the Adobe Acrobat Reader plug-in, which you can download from http://www.adobe.com.
Opens the About SiteMinder window, which contains copyright, version, and policy store schema information about your installation of SiteMinder.
