Pre-Installation Checklist

You may want to print the following to use as a checklist to help ensure you meet all of the necessary system and software requirements before installing a Policy Server, an Administrative UI, and a Report Server.

• Install the SiteMinder bookshelf.
• Confirm that the Windows or UNIX system that is to host the Policy Server meets the minimum system requirements.
• Confirm that the Windows or UNIX system that is to host the Administrative UI meets the minimum system requirements.
• Confirm that the Windows or UNIX system that is to host the Report Server meets the minimum system requirements.
• Confirm that your environment includes a database instance that meets the report database requirements.
