500 Error After Configuring SiteMinder Agent for IIS (CQ143438)

Valid on IIS 7.5 web servers

Symptom:

I installed and configured a SiteMinder Agent for IIS, but I get a 500 error in my browser when I access a protected resource.

Solution:

Verify that the application pool identities associated with the protected resources have access to the appropriate SiteMinder files and directories.
