Administrative UI Protection

By default, the installer creates a protection policy to protect the Administrative UI. The installer requires Agent Name that is defined in Policy Server to create the protection policy.

CA SiteMinder® SPS Installer

The installer is updated to gather the following parameters:

Agent Name to create objects for protecting the CA SiteMinder® SPS Administrative UI by default.
Master Key to support Enhanced Session Assurance with DeviceDNA™ feature.

Log Rollover of the mod_jk Log File

CA SiteMinder® SPS uses the rotatelogs utility of Apache for log rollover of the mod_jk log file. The mod_jk log file name has the following new format:

mod_jk.log.timestamp

Administrative UI New Look and Feel

The CA SiteMinder® SPS Administrative UI is now refreshed to meet the CA standard for fonts, colors, icons, and images. The menu navigation for the Administrative UI has new styles but uses the familiar tab interface. The steps in the configuration wizards have a new, more colorful look. The new look improves the navigation and makes configuration tasks easier.
