Create Virtual Host

For CA SiteMinder® SPS to act as a virtual host for one or more host names, configure the Virtual Host settings for each host. CA SiteMinder® SPS provides default virtual host settings that you can use for a virtual host. You can use the default virtualhost settings or create a virtualhost.

If you do not specify all the configuration parameters of a virtual host, CA SiteMinder® SPS uses the values for those parameters from the default virtual host settings. If you specify values for the parameters that are part of the default virtual host settings, CA SiteMinder® SPS overrides the default values of those parameters with the new values that you specify.

Follow these steps:

  1. Click Add.

The Add Virtual Host page appears. By default, the Virtual Host Details tab appears.

  2. Enter the values for the virtual host parameters.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Select Session Scheme.
