Prerequisites for NTLM Mode (Windows only)

The prerequisites for installing the CA SiteMinder® Federation Standalone Windows Agent on systems running Windows and using NTLM mode are listed following.

• Set up the domain controller on Windows for NTLM.
• Configure Internet Explorer settings:
  • Local Intranet Properties Setup
  • Intranet Authentication Setup
  • (Optional) Browser Authentication through a Proxy Server
  • (Optional) Port Specification
