Add a SiteMinder user to the Personalization Permissions
Adding a SiteMinder user to the personalization permissions grants access to the protected SSP sites.
To add a SiteMinder user to the personalization permissions
- Click Start, Programs, Microsoft Office Servers, SharePoint 3.0 Central Administration.
The SharePoint Central Administration page appears.
- Click the link for SharedServices in the left pane.
The Shared Services Administration page appears.
- Click Personalization Services Permissions.
The Manage Permissions: Shared Service Rights screen appears.
- Click Add Users/Groups.
The Add Users/Groups screen appears.
- Enter the users and groups you want. Use the buttons under the dialog to check names, or browse for a user.
- Check the boxes of the permissions you want for each user or group.
- Click Save.
The Add Users/Groups screen closes. The user is added.
