Reason:

The encrypted shared secret could not be decrypted.

Action:

Verify that the shared secret is AES encrypted.

If you edit the configuration file manually, use the NPSEncrypt tool with one of the options shown in the following examples:

• (Windows): NPSEncrypt.exe -FIPS plain_text_to_encrypt
• (UNIX/Linux): ./NPSEncrypt -FIPS plain_text_to_encrypt
