The Windows system where you install the Policy Server must meet the following minimum system requirements:
Note: We recommend 2 GB of RAM for Policy Server processing. We recommend at least 4 GB of RAM is available to the Policy Server host system.
Note: These requirements are based on a medium size policy database of approximately 1,000 policies.
Apply the patches to the following files on your system:
These files are in the directory jre_home\lib\security.

This variable specifies the location of the Java Runtime Environment installation.

Note: The Red Hat operating system relies on entropy for its performance. Before you install the component, increase entropy. Otherwise, the installation takes an exceedingly long time, and the Administrative UI responses slow down during runtime.
Use the following commands:
mv /dev/random /dev/random.org ln -s /dev/urandom /dev/random

Note: Typically, 10 MB of free disk space in /tmp is required for the daily operation of the Policy Server. The Policy Server creates files and named pipes under /tmp. You cannot change the path.
