Class Summary

SmDmsApiImpl	This is the implementation class of the interface SmDmsApi.
SmDmsConfig	Represents a DMS configuration object.
SmDmsContext	Provides DMS context information for a particular realm.
SmDmsCookie	Represents an SmDmsCookie object for LDAP specific paging operations.
SmDmsCursor	Represents an SmDmsCursor object for result set sorting and paging operations.
SmDmsDirectory	Represents a user namespace, such as LDAP.
SmDmsDirectoryContext	Provides directory context information for a SiteMinder user directory.
SmDmsGroup	Represents a group object in an organization.
SmDmsObject	Class SmDmsObject is the root of the DMS API object hierarchy.

Package com.netegrity.sdk.dmsapi Description

Contains Delegated Management Services (DMS) classes for creating and managing organizations, groups, users, and roles in a directory.

The SmDmsApiImpl class is the starting point for this package.

DMS users are assigned one the following categories of directory management privileges. The categories are listed below from lowest to highest:

• End user. Can manage certain information about the end user’s own account, such as changing the user’s password and viewing (but not adding) the roles that the user is a member of.
• Organization administrator. Can manage an entire organization and any organizations below it.
• SiteMinder administrator. Can manage directories in one or more domains.
  SiteMinder administrator privileges can vary. With DMS, SiteMinder administrators must have system-level Manage User privileges. For details about SiteMinder administrator privileges, see Policy Server Configuration Guide.
• Super administrator. Can manage all directories in all domains.
