CA SOI now lets you map raw event properties to USM properties. Events from raw event sources such as SNMP traps require user action to normalize them appropriately to USM alert properties. With this release of CA SOI, you can create a normalization policy in CA SOI to normalize raw event properties.
This functionality makes it easier for you to work with raw events sources and quickly integrate them into CA SOI. This functionality also helps you address situations where you have connectors that are the source of unpredictable formats, making it impossible to provide out-of-the-box normalization policy.
