Report Availability After BusinessObjects Installation

If you are not able to view reports after you install BusinessObjects, it may be because of the following reasons:

Follow these steps:

  1. Delete the CA_SAM Universe, Universe connection, Folder, and Group from BusinessObjects.
  2. Enter the ODBC definition.
  3. Enter the datasource name in the samreports.xml file.

    Note: In the datasource name field, enter the ODBC connection name.

  4. Run biconfig from the command line to import the BIAR file.
  5. Log in to the Central Management Console as the Administrator and add the <user> to the SOI Reports group.
  6. Log in to InfoView as <user> and run a report.
