Event and Alert Management

CA SOI displays all alerts that are collected from connectors, which allows CA SOI to serve as a unified alert management solution. You can manage alerts as part of managed services or alert queues, which you define to create logical groupings of alerts for specialized management. Escalation policy determines automated actions to take in response to alert conditions, and you can also manually invoke various actions on a specific alert.

CA SOI also includes an event management system that lets you transform raw event data into a quality alert set. You can view events by connector or any other criteria. You can also create and deploy policies that define how CA SOI processes and transforms event data into actionable alerts.
