Enable BusinessObjects Trusted Authentication

Enable trusted authentication in BusinessObjects to connect to reports through CA SOI without logging in.

Follow these steps:

Log in to the BusinessObjects Central Management Console as the Administrator user.
The Central Management Console Home page opens.
Click Authentication in the Manage section.
The Authentication page opens.
Double-click Enterprise in the Authentication section.
The Enterprise page opens.
Select the Trusted Authentication is Enabled check box.
Enter a password in the Shared Secret field and click Update.
Note: If CA SOI is sharing BusinessObjects with another CA Technologies product (for example, CA Spectrum), this feature can be enabled already.

The changes are saved.
