Web Browser Support

CA SDM supports the following web browsers. For specific version support, visit http://support.ca.com for the Browser Compatibility Matrix.

Desktops and Laptops

Provides full support for the following browsers:

Note: When you open the Support Automation client, instructions appear about how to download and install this client on your computer. Select Yes or OK to any security prompts and do not change the file name. The client does not install if you rename the file or if you click No or Cancel at the security prompts.

Important! You can launch the Support Automation Analyst Interface from 32-bit web browsers only.

Tablets

Provides limited support for the Apple iPad.

Important! CA SDM supports the Apple iPad with iOS 7.0 browsers to display the Analyst Interface, Employee Self-Service, Customer Self-Service, and Vendor Self-Service interfaces only. CA SDM does not support attachments on Tablets. On the iPad, the Safari browser supports the full CA SDM User Interface. However, other browsers may display the full UI, but currently they are not supported.

CA SDM limits the Apple iPad default browsers to the following functionality:

Smartphones

Displays the PDA Interface on all unsupported devices and browsers.
