CA Process Automation Integration Planning

CA Process Automation is a stand-alone CA product with features for automating and tracking hardware and software administration tasks in enterprise IT environments. CA Process Automation automates tasks and manages user interactions, such as approvals and notifications for compliance and accuracy within production environments.

To plan for CA Process Automation integration, consider the following:

• Allow extra time to install and configure the CA Process Automation product.
• Assess whether CA Process Automation and CA SDM can coexist on a single server when the server architecture supports both products. When CA Process Automation or CA SDM components cannot coexist on the same server, consider installing each product on separate servers.
• Allow for time to verify that both products are installed and working independently.
• When CA SDM is integrated with CA Process Automation which uses CA EEM 8.4, ensure that you apply the CA EEM 8.4 SDK patch on CA SDM. Find the patch details on CA Support Online
