For SAP BusinessObjects users, if you have an existing installation of BusinessObjects, which was not installed through CA Business Intelligence, we recommend for the greatest level of compatibility and supportability that you install and configure CA Business Intelligence. If you prefer to use your existing BusinessObjects installation, however, you can skip the CA Business Intelligence installation steps and proceed to this section: How to Configure CA Business Intelligence.
Note: You must be using BusinessObjects Enterprise Release 3 and have deployed Tomcat as an application server. You also must be licensed for Web Intelligence. Regarding Crystal Reports, you must have a runtime license or greater.
