Verify Prerequisites
Review the following considerations before you plan to implement CA Business Intelligence for CA SDM:
- CA SDM r12.9 uses CA Business Intelligence version 3.3.
- The installation of CA Business Intelligence requires Central Management Server (CMS) installed on port 6400.
- The CA SDM users requiring access to reports must be added to the CMS Administrator list before using the reports.
- We recommend the SAP BusinessObjects users having an existing installation of BusinessObjects, to install and configure the CA Business Intelligence.
- If you are using Firefox to view the reports, see the CA SDM Release Notes to verify the recommended version.
- See the CA SDM Release Notes for the supported version of JRE.
- Crystal Reports Explorer and Desktop Intelligence are not supported with CA SDM.
- You have a separate server to install CA Business Intelligence if you are using advanced availability configuration.
