Knowledge Administration

You can configure administrative settings for Knowledge Management. You can set self-service Knowledge options to meet the needs of users and to create an efficient and effective environment for managing and delivering knowledge. Use the Administration tab to set system options. You can set knowledge permissions that are based on the group or role of a contact. You apply settings that help to confirm the functionality and use of Knowledge Management.

Important! Re-indexing documents in the knowledge base and running the calculation for Automated Policies and the Knowledge Report Card can be time-consuming. We recommend that you run these operations during non-business hours or when your system is less busy.
