How to Uninstall CA Service Catalog

You can uninstall CA Service Catalog, CA EEM, and CA Workflow from one or more computers.

Follow these steps:

  1. Stop all CA Service Catalog Windows services on all computers.

The services are named CA Service Accounting, CA Service Catalog, and CA Service Fulfillment (if used).

  2. Open the Windows Control Panel, select CA Service Catalog, and click Uninstall.

    CA Service Catalog is uninstalled.

Note: The CA Service Catalog data in the MDB is saved for any future CA Service Catalog installations in your enterprise. You can optionally delete the data from the MDB. However, if you delete the data, you cannot recover it.

  3. If no other CA Technologies products in your enterprise use CA EEM, use the Windows Control Panel to uninstall it.

Important! Before uninstalling CA EEM, unregister all registered applications. For instructions, see your CA EEM documentation.

  4. Use the Windows Control Panel to uninstall CA Workflow if no other CA products in your enterprise use it.
  5. (Optional) Review the uninstallation log files in the Windows Temp directory:

Note: Tomcat and the JRE are installed automatically during the CA Service Catalog installation. They are also uninstalled automatically during the CA Service Catalog uninstallation.
