Custom Fields

You can use custom fields to facilitate aggregation logic. For example, business rules may indicate that the processing of rows in a data set varies based on some external value.

You can also use custom fields to maintain legacy information as part of a user interface customization. For example, a charge may have a value in an external system (such as, accounts receivable) that is used to perform cross referencing.
