Symptom:
This issue has occurred with Internet Explorer 8.0 on Windows servers that are configured to use enhanced security settings. This issue may also affect other implementations.
You use the setup utility to configure CA Service Catalog, for example, when you install or upgrade the product. When you click some links on the setup utility, the browser may block the link and may issue a message like this one:
Content from the web site listed below is being blocked by Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration
Solution:
Update the browser to include the following entry in its trusted sites:
about:blank
