User Applications
CA Workflow contains the following user applications:
- CA Workflow Process Definition Tool (also referred to as the CA Workflow IDE) - Java Swing application used to create and edit process definitions, actors and other components as well as to manage process instances.
- Worklist - Web application used by users who have been assigned a task by a process instance.
- Workflow Manager - Web application used to manage process instances. CA Workflow Manager provides a subset of the functionality of the IDE.
Note: CA Workflow is included in several CA products. While all instances of CA Workflow can share the same MDB, each CA product provides its own installation of its own instance of CA Workflow. Each instance of CA Workflow provides its own copy of each CA Workflow application and has a separate context meaning it manages its own set of CA Workflow process definitions, actors, and process definitions.
