CA Service Catalog supports Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6). IPv6 is supported whenever CA Service Catalog is running. Thus, this IPv6 support does not need to be configured, turned on, or turned off.
However, if you are using an Oracle database running on Linux and your Linux server is configured for IPv6 support, you may be unable to log in to the CA Workflow IDE after you have installed CA Service Catalog. In such cases, modify your CA Workflow configuration to enable login again; for details, see Cannot Log in to CA Workflow.
Note: If Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPv4) and Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) hosts co-exist on your network, ensure that the appropriate transition strategies, tools, and mechanisms to support both technologies are configured and running in your test and production environments.
