These fields on the Definition tab of the Service Option Element Definition window may require explanation.
Defines the type of service option element. Available service option element types follow.
Note: For cost and charge-related Service Option Element types, CA Service Accounting is required for invoicing and chargeback.
Adjusts the charge of an associated service option element based on the value indicated. Can be a fixed value or a specified multiplier of the value of the associated service option element.
Specifies a chargeable item based on usage of an associated application.
Specifies a true or false value.
Associates a CA Business Service Insight service level agreement (SLA).
Note: This option applies only if CA Business Service Insight is installed and integrated with CA Service Catalog. For details about this integration, see the Integration Guide.
Associates a form with a service option element which displays when a service option is requested by a user.
Select Form to associate a form created with the Form Designer, or select CA Workflow Form to associate a form created with CA Workflow. Both types of forms are used to provide or gather additional information to complete the request. When you use a form in a service, these rules apply:

Date values used with tiered service option groups.
Similar to a Rate Service Option Element type but also allows a day of the week for weekly charges or a day of the month for monthly charges.
Specifies either a fixed numeric value or a numeric value entered by the user requesting the service that contains this service option element
Specifies a chargeable item not based on application usage.
Associates a Reservation Manager reservation of a physical or virtual resource.
Note: This option applies only if Reservation Manager is installed and integrated with CA Service Catalog. For details about this integration, see the Integration Guide.
Specifies the text that appears to users when they select the associated service option.
