Accounts are important components of a business unit. An account can represent a corporate unit, a regional office, an individual user, or any logical grouping of them. CA Service Accounting applies charges to accounts.
The Catalog system uses accounts to request services and to subscribe to services. If a user requests a service from the catalog, the Catalog system automatically does the following:
