The CA MICS or JARS service manager periodically uploads usage data files to an FTP Server. Before the file is uploaded, the file must be named following a specific naming convention.
Note: For more information on extracting information for use by CA Service Catalog, see the CA MICS or JARS documentation.
Two files are created by the CA MICS or JARS process. The data mediation profile definition is exported into an XML file (filename.xml). The XML file name must match the name of the related usage data in CSV format (filename.csv). For example, if the exported profile name is SampleProfileName.xml, then the paired usage data file is SampleProfileName.csv. The file name cannot contain spaces and must use only characters or digits.
