Configuration

The usage data import process can be automated by configuring the CA Service Repository Agent ("also known as Data Mediation Data Repository Agent"). Data share can be implemented by using these methods:

• Sharing the Repository Agent data folder, which is named %USM_HOME%/repagent/data
• Setting the FTP server configuration information in the configuration file named %USM_HOME%/repagent/config/repagent.cfg

When the CA Service Repository Agent service is started, it fetches data files from the CA Service Repository Agent data folder (%USM_HOME%/repagent/data), according to the interval specified by the repeat.interval.ms=value setting in the CA Service Repository Agent configuration file (%USM_HOME%/repagent/config/repagent.cfg). The default value is 900000 (900 seconds or 15 minutes).

If the FTP Sever connection configuration is set up, the repository agent connects to the FTP server at the configured interval time and moves the related XML and CSV files to the data folder using the FTP file GET mechanism.
