Example: Delay creating a service instance
Symptom:
Sometime loading the detailed information for an existing service offering can take a long time.
Solution:
This is a UIM/P performance issue loading vCenter Cluster information.
Example: Second service action throws an error.
Symptom:
When I selected a second service action, I got an error.
Solution:
This is a Vblock server limitation; Vblock does not allow two actions to run in parallel even if they are completely independent. Wait until the first action completes before starting the second.
Example: Deleting a Vblock service was unsuccessful.
Symptom:
I tried to delete a Vblock service in CA Server Automation, but deletion did not occur.
Solution:
Only PLANNED or DECOMMISSIONED services can be deleted. UIM/P doesn’t provide a Service Decommission API, so to delete a service, decommissioning must be done using the FlexUI user interface.
