Key Performance Database

In this release, the following changes are available:

Key Performance DB

Collects the performance metrics. The collected metrics are displayed in the Performance Charts. The tooltips provide the corresponding descriptions. Key Performance DB provides:

• A scalable solution that is able to store up to 1 million metrics using a common setup.
• Efficiently used storage space and lower I/O usage
• A user-friendly interface that provides the following information:
  • Categorized metrics
  • Localized metric names and description
  • Units for all metric types

Note: For a list of performance metrics and descriptions, see the Performance Metrics Reference.

Important! The Key Performance Database collects the performance data. The Collection Engine that has collected the performance data in previous releases is still available for compatibility reasons.
