Provision Stacks

The creation of service templates enables one-click application stack provisioning for Service Consumers.

Follow these steps:

1. Click Stacks to view the available Application Stacks.
2. Click the + icon to perform the application stack provisioning.
3. (Optional) Input a name for the project.
4. (Optional) Specify the Administrator Password for the provisioned systems.
5. (Optional) Add an additional User.
6. (Optional) Set the duration or specify the start date and end date for the reservation of the Application Stack. Click the Change link in the Duration section in the reservation dialog.
7. (Optional) Provide any additional inputs to overwrite the default parameters as defined in the stack template Actions.
8. Click OK to provision.

CA Server Automation provisions the requested stack instance and adds the provision task to the Home page as a reservation for the application stack instance.
