Use this command to list storage resources.
This command has the following format:
cadpmspm -discover -sttype=DeviceType [-detail=DiscoveryDetailLevel] [-stsrv=StorageServer] [-stplat=StoragePlatform] [-ws_user=username -ws_password=password] [-locale iso639value]
Specifies the type of device.
For NetApp storage platform, the possible values are:
Specifies data sets
Specifies resource pools
Specifies provisioning policy
Specifies storage services
Specifies vFilers
Specifies vFiler templates
Specifies storage systems
Specifies protection policy
Specifies host agents
Specifies LUN information.
Specifies Groups.
Specifies VLANs.
Specifies IP Spaces.
Specifies Masking and Mapping.
For EMC, HP, and IBM storage platforms, the possible values are:
Specifies resource pools.
Specifies storage systems.
Specifies host agents.
Specifies LUN information.
Specifies Masking and Mapping.
(Optional) Specifies to turn on detailed discovery; possible values are:
Specifies basic detail.
Specifies simple detail.
Specifies complete detail.
(Optional) Specifies the storage server name or IP address.
(Optional) Specifies the storage platform; possible value is:
Specifies NetApp as the storage platform.
Specifies EMC as the storage platform.
Specifies HP as the storage platform.
Specifies IBM as the storage platform.
Default: 1
(Optional) Specifies the credentials to use for the web service security check. If you do not include credentials, you are prompted to enter them. Avoid the prompt for credentials by setting up your own session using caaipsecurity.
(Optional) Specifies an IS0 639_3166 combination to override the default English output, for example, fr_FR for French. To use the locale of the command prompt, specify "native".
