Deploy and Manage Service Reservations

The Home page displays reservation counts for the current user. Tiles display stacks in the following statuses: Running, Stopped, Failed, Expired, Pending, and All.

To manage a stack

  1. Select a stack in the Stacks table. To find a specific stack, enter the stack name in the Search text field and click Search.
  2. To perform actions, click the right-arrow in the Action column.

To add additional users from the Reservation Details page

  1. (Optional) Create a reservation.
  2. Select the reservation.

    Note: Stack options in the Action menu are displayed based on stack status.

  3. From the Actions menu, click Details.

    The Reservation Details page appears.

  4. Click the Additional User icon.

    The Additional Users page appears, where you can find users with the same organization unit as the reservation creator.

  5. Select a user and click OK.

    The user name displays in Additional Users. You also can provide an email address to the additional user to receive a notification email.

  6. Select a user and click OK.

    The reservation is created for the additional user, who can receive a notification email.

To deploy a stack

  1. Select a stack from one of the following lists:

    Note: A stack can denote a single stack or a group of stack (named a tier). When a tier is selected for deployment, select the Stack from the resource bundle in the Deploy window.

  2. To search for a stack, specify text and click Search.
  3. Set the start date, duration, and supply the required values in the Requirements section.

    A cost estimate appears for convenience.

To add additional users during deployment

  1. On the Deploy pane, click the Additional User icon.

    The Additional Users page appears, where you can find users with the same organization unit as the reservation creator.

  2. Select a user and click OK.

    The user name displays in Additional Users. You also can provide an email address to the additional user to receive a notification email.

  3. Select a user and click OK.

    The reservation is created for the additional user, who can receive a notification email.
