Manage Images for Physical Computers

To manage images for physical computers, right-click, select Provisioning, then Re-Image.

The Re-Image page lets you:

• Deploy a CA Imaging OS image and other software packages to a physical computer.
• View image deployment status.

Capturing an image is the process of copying an OS (Windows, Linux, or UNIX) image from an image repository to a managed resource. Deploying an image is the process of laying down all the bits of an image to a managed resource.

The Explore pane is where you select the physical computer for image actions. You can also use the left navigation pane to select a physical computer. The Re-Image dialog and Action menu are used to apply actions to the selected computer from the Explore pane.
