Storage Update vFiler

vFiler Name

Specifies the name of the vFiler.

Example: “somevfiler”

Resource:

Name or identifier of the hosting filer or resource pool from which to provision a new vFiler.

Example: resourcepool1

Dry Run Mode:

Provisioning dry run mode. None, provision without dry run. Only, dry run only. Both, provision with dry run.

Example: Both

IP Address (Opt.):

IP address of the new vFiler. This element is not required only when the API is run in dry-run mode.

Example: 127.0.0.1

IP Space (Opt.):

Name of IP Space to use for vFiler.

Example: myIPSpace1

Allow Protocol (Opt.)

Specifies the protocol that the vFiler supports. Specify 'CIFS', 'SCSI', 'FCP', or 'NFS'.

Example: SCSI

CIDS Domain User (Opt.)

Specifies the Username for CIFS domain access.

Example: domainUser22

CIFSS Domain User Password (Opt.)

Specifies the password for CIFS domain access.

Example: domainPassword22

CIFS Workgroup (Opt.)

Specifies the CIFS Workgroup name.

Example: workgroup22

Run CIFS Setup (Opt.)

Indicates whether CIFS setup should be performed on the vFiler unit. Specify ‘True’ or ‘False’.

vFiler Root Password (Opt.)

Specifies the Root password of the new vFiler.

Example: rPassword123

vFiler Script Path (Opt.)

Specifies the path to a script that will be run in pre setup and post setup mode when setting up the vFiler unit.

Example: /opt/vFiler/setup

vFiler Template (Opt.)

Specifies the name or identifier of vFiler template.

Example: vFilerScript

Storage Server Name

Specifies the name of the storage server

Example: Hostname.com

Storage Server Username

Specifies the name of user on Storage Server.

Example: ca_user

Storage Server Password

Specifies the storage server user’s password.

Example: ca_password

Storage Server Protocol

Specifies the protocol to access Storage Server. HTTP or HTTPS. Default is ‘HTTP’

Example: HTTP

Storage Server Port

Specifies the storage Server port number. Default is 8088.

Example: 8088

Storage Server Timeout

Specifies the timeout in seconds to wait for a response from Storage Server. Default is 600

Example: 600
