Manage Your Tenants

A tenant is a collection of users and resources. The tenant users are a subset of all CA EEM global users, and the tenant resources are a subset of all resources that CA Server Automation discovers and manages.

In environments with tenants, there can be two types of administrators:

The super administrator can perform all administrative tasks in Reservation Manager. The tenant administrator can administer only the resources belonging to the tenant.

The Manage your tenants link on the Administration page lets a super administrator view, add, edit, and delete tenants and tenant members.

You can view more information about tenants by clicking the Name link or selecting Details from the Actions menu.

Note: See the Administration Guide, Setting Up Reservation Manager chapter, Post-Installation Administrative Tasks section for more information about multi-tenancy.
