Users and administrators can add one or more network adapters to an existing VMware reservation. Network adapters are often named network interface cards or NICs.
The View your reservations link on the Reservation Manager home page lets you add a network adapter to a reservation. The link displays your reservations in a table. Select a reservation to display the System Details. Select New from the Actions menu in the Network Adapter Details section. The New option is available when no NIC is currently selected.
Note: When the network address pool is unavailable, you cannot add or edit an existing reservation NIC.
A dialog opens that lets you add the device type, network, and MAC address configuration for the new NIC.
